Job Description: 
Assistant Professor in Anatomy: 
An Assistant Professor in Anatomy position is open at Ajman University's College of Medicine, starting in the autumn semester of 2024–2025. 
Job Responsibilities:
 Develop and deliver courses to students in the specified discipline areas of study, considering and aiming to achieve the three (3) fundamental university standards: Teaching, Research, and Services. To ensure continued student achievement, assess, track, and give feedback on each individual student's progress. Conduct high-quality research in his/her own field and publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferences. Pursuing research in relevant biological sciences and/or pedagogy. Providing service to the College, the University, and the community at large. encouraging and growing the development of the anatomy curriculum in accordance with other foundational medical science courses and making connections to the clinical sciences. Support and participate in accreditation initiatives. Ensure that your interactions with pupils foster a learning environment. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 
Job Requirements: 
Basic medical degree (MBBS/MD). obtained a Ph.D. from a recognised university (THE or QS World University Ranking) in anatomy or a closely related discipline. shows signs of having the ability to instruct in one or more of the following fields: histology, embryology, gross anatomy (including cadaveric dissection), and neuroanatomy. It will be very beneficial if the candidate has prior experience instructing in an integrated systems-based curriculum. Have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and laboratory-based instruction, dedication to continued professional development and scholarship, and a broad-based knowledge of anatomical sciences. Have a strong commitment to collaborating and working across disciplines. It is necessary to have shown proficiency with the English language both orally and in writing. advanced technology integration into the educational process (presentations, e-learning, reports, etc.). 
Skills Required: 
proficiency in communicating in written and spoken English. Dedication to continued professional development and scholarship. completing extremely high-caliber academic work, as demonstrated by external peer evaluation. Demonstrate excellent teaching abilities and maintain a current and proficient knowledge in their fields. Ability to develop and lead high-quality research. Ability to provide academic advising for students. the capacity to collaborate well with a variety of varied communities. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
